Convert PDF

Turn a PDF into Word, PNG, JPG, EPUB, or PPTX.

  • Browser-based — no install
  • Files private to your account
  • Up to 250 MB on Pro

Sometimes a PDF is the wrong format for the job. Flint converts your PDF to the format you actually need — Word for editing, Excel for tables, PowerPoint for slides, PNG or JPG for images, or EPUB for reading on an e-reader. Upload once, pick a target format, and review the result before exporting.

How it works

Right in your browser, no install

Flint PDF runs entirely in your browser. Drop a file in, do the thing, get the file out.

  1. 1

    Upload your PDF

Drag in any PDF, scanned or digital. It's tied to your account and processed over an encrypted connection.

  2. 2

    Pick a target format

Choose Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PNG, JPG, or EPUB. Each path is tuned for its destination — tables go to Excel cells, slides preserve layout, images come out one per page.

  3. 3

    Preview the conversion

Check that text, tables, and images came through the way you expect. You can adjust the target format and re-run before exporting.

  4. 4

    Export the file

Export the converted document with a Pro account. Multi-page image conversions are bundled as a zip; everything else downloads as a single file.

What it's for

Built for real work

Edit a PDF in Word

Get an editable .docx with text, headings, tables, and images preserved instead of retyping the document from scratch.

Pull tables into Excel

Convert reports, statements, and invoices to Excel so you can sort, filter, and run formulas over the data inside.

Reuse pages as images or slides

Export individual pages as PNG or JPG for the web, or convert a deck back to PowerPoint to keep iterating on the slides.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Flint's PDF converter free?
You can upload a PDF and preview the conversion for free. Downloading the converted file requires Flint Pro.
Which formats can I convert to?
Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), PowerPoint (.pptx), PNG, JPG, and EPUB. Pick the target format on the conversion page after you upload.
How well are tables and formatting preserved?
Flint detects table structure and sends cells to real Excel cells or Word tables rather than flattening them to text. Headings, lists, and inline images carry through too. Heavily scanned PDFs may need OCR, which is on by default for image-only pages.
Are my files private?
Yes. Files stay on your account, are transferred over an encrypted connection, and aren't used for training.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Conversion runs in your browser — there's no desktop app or plugin to install.
What's the maximum file size?
Free uploads are capped at a smaller size. Pro accounts can convert PDFs up to 250 MB.
Can I convert just a few pages?
Yes. Use Extract Pages first to grab the pages you want, then convert that smaller PDF to your target format.
