You need to rotate your PDF clockwise — top of the page should move to the right edge. Maybe you have a landscape chart that came out portrait, or a page that scanned with its top-left corner where the top-right should be.
One click does it. Flint has dedicated CW and CCW buttons.
The CW button explained
Open rotate PDF pages. The clockwise rotation button rotates the selection 90° to the right. The top of each selected page moves to where the right edge was. Width and height swap. A portrait page becomes landscape with the top facing right.
When you want clockwise specifically
If your page currently reads with the top pointing toward the left edge (i.e. top is on the left), one CW click brings the top to the top. If the top is currently pointing down, you need 180° (one CW twice, or use the 180° preset). If the top is on the right, CCW is what you need, not CW.
Apply to all or to a selection
'Select all' + CW rotates the whole document clockwise. Click-select specific pages + CW rotates only those. The button doesn't care; it applies to whatever's selected.
Multiple turns
Click CW twice for 180°. Three times for 270° (equivalent to one CCW). Four times brings you back to the start. The 180° preset is just a shortcut for 'CW twice'.
FAQ
Is 'right' and 'clockwise' the same?
Yes, in PDF rotation terms. 'Rotate right' = clockwise = top moves to the right edge.
What if I rotated CW when I needed CCW?
Click CW three more times (total 360°) to return, then click CCW. Or click 'reset' if you haven't saved yet.
Does Flint remember my last direction?
Within the session, yes. Reopen the tool and the buttons reset to neutral state.
Can I rotate just landscape pages clockwise?
Filter the thumbnail grid by landscape orientation, select all, click CW. Done.
One click, top moves right. Rotate clockwise.
