Compress the result
A merged 50-file pack can easily hit 80 MB if the originals had embedded scans. Compress before archiving — typical reduction is 70%. A 80 MB pack becomes a 20 MB pack with no visible quality change.
For distribution (sending to your accountant, attaching to journals), the compressed version is the one you send.

Is there a limit to how many PDFs I can merge?
Flint handles dozens of PDFs at a time in the browser. For truly massive merges (hundreds), break into batches of 50 and merge the batches in a second pass.
What if the PDFs are different page sizes?
Merge handles mixed page sizes — each PDF keeps its original dimensions. The merged document will have pages of varying size, which is fine for most uses.
Can I merge PDFs with different orientations?
Yes. If you want consistent orientation, rotate pages first, then merge.
Do I need to upload files to merge them?
